Thomas Métivier
Mr. Thomas Metivier is a graduate of École Polytechnique and an Engineer of France’s Corps des Mines, Mr. Metivier held, between 2012 and 2017, various administrative positions in the French Ministry of Economy (Advisor for Economy to the Prefect of Aquitaine Region then Deputy Regional Director for Economy and Employment in Bordeaux, France). He joined Cdiscount’s strategy department in 2017 and was appointed Head of Strategy in 2018. Appointed Marketplace, International and Strategy Director in 2019, he joined Cdiscount’s Executive committee. Since then, he has been in charge of Cdiscount’s Marketplace development. He launched the B2B marketplace solution project which became our Octopia subsidiary and was appointed CEO of Octopia in 2021.
Steven Geers
Steven Geers was appointed as the Company’s executive Board member and General Counsel on December 21, 2021. Mr. Geers became the Company’s General Counsel on March 17, 2016, after having worked as Assistant General Counsel from March 1, 2015. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Geers worked as a senior lawyer at General Electric (GE) and practiced law at international law firms in Amsterdam and The Hague in the Netherlands, and New York City, USA. Mr. Geers holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Groningen University in the Netherlands.
Since joining Cnova in 2009, Marie Even has served as Head of Legal Affairs before being appointed General Secretary in 2017, overseeing Legal, HR, CSR, Corporate Communication, DPO, and Public Affairs. She was appointed Deputy CEO of Cdiscount in August 2020, leading the General Secretary and Cnova Pay, a financial entity managing marketplace financial flows and installment payments and was appointed interim CFO in March 2025. Since April 2024, she has also been in charge of Transformation. Prior to joining Cdiscount, Marie was Head of Group Legal for 2H Technologies and practiced as a lawyer at Deloitte law firm for six years.
